Reelfoot trip

Slow today - day 1 of 4 this trip. Killed 6, recovered 4. Wood ducks, shoveler and gadwall.

Very warm for this time of year with near record highs in the high 70s.

Overnight looks like we have some pretty unstable weather. Our lodge is basically a finished metal building. If you’re not familiar with Reelfoot, we are in the purple shaded area.

Hopefully it is more bark than bite.

Tomorrow looks good with a strong NW wind and temps dropping throughout the day.B7F4EC93-ACCD-44CA-A1B4-65BC98F2201E.jpeg179A1BDC-203E-48D1-9D91-CA188A1C11C9.jpegEA832FFC-0C8A-4598-8BBD-ADF8296571B2.jpeg

Crazy World we live in. I Had a friend hunt in Arkansas a few years ago around this time. First day, warm and no wind, but shot a few mallards. That night a bad storm system came through with several tornados. He woke up the next morning and dead specklebellies were all over. Glad you are OK - God was looking out for you.
