Funny I was just sitting on my deck listening to a woodpecker and watching some male cardinals at the feeder when roundball popped into my head. Lol. Rb have you ever tried to photograph a hummingbird?

Back in the '80s I got a few...but not again since I've gotten back into it.
We used to have a number of them around then I got involved in other things and stopped with the feeders years ago.
Put up a couple new red feeders with a colorful Petunia hanging along side each one a month ago...haven't seen the first Hummer yet

Once again, nice pics. You say you don't have any hummers? We've had them here since early April. Right now they aren't coming to the feeders as much because the honeysuckle is blooming. I took this photo a few years ago of a hummer that would perch on a post on the back porch. It was morning, but I messed up the setting trying to shoot fast and got a black background. I liked the result, so I kept it.
