I have used old Walmart 3-9 Simmons scopes on slug guns with no problem.
Good steel weaver rings will hold her.
Fixed powered Tasco scope are good too.
I don’t have any experience with your specific slug gun, but I dealt with a Browning A Bolt that was pure murder on scopes. It killed quite a few before I found one that would stand up to it.
It was my buddies gun and we went through a Simmons Aetec, a Tasco World Class, a Bushnell Bone Collector DOA, a Burris Fullfield, a Nikon Pro Staff, and a Nikon Monarch and all failed within 5 shots or less.
I ordered him a Leupold Ultimate Slam
3-9x40 and it’s been on there for 7 or 8 years now and still going strong.
I went cheaper than normal with a scope for my H&R ultra slug hunter. Picked up a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 for under $100.
It has held zero perfectly for 6 seasons and 6 one-shot kills. I also love the quick-focus front eye piece, which is perfect for my aging computer eyes...
