Rare buck (At least for me)

I know this is a little late, but thought it was a cool buck and wanted to see if anyone has seen anything like it before.
We have one daylight trail cam of this buck from October and another night time pic and that’s all from this year. I only started hunting this land last year, but the guys that hunted it previous years had several pictures of this deer three years ago and they were guessing he was a 2 or 3 year old buck then, so I’m guessing him to be 5 ½ or older (not 100% sure).
Anyways, he had several unique characteristics.
  • Split G2, not that rare.
  • Brown ummmm testical sack. Not sure how rare this is, but I never remember shooting a deer with brown hair on his manhood, it’s always been white. Zoom in on the one pic and you can see.
  • Canine teeth. I’ve heard of it before, but never seen it or heard of anyone shooting a deer with them. The guy that did the skull mount for me said that they poked through his rubber gloves and he could see them poking through the gum line.

So, just curious how rare 2 and 3 are and if anyone else has seen or noticed any on the deer they’ve harvested.

I shot one with canines in 2017. I was asked if I wanted to skull mount instead, I declined and had a shoulder mount. I started looking closer since then but the 2017 buck I'm sure is my only one that had canines.

The dipped teabag surely is a new one to me though.

According to what I found, upper canine teeth are very rare on white tail deer. They are more common on other deer species, like elk.

I got one years ago that I didn’t know had them until I got the skull back.

Johnston county genetics have always been wonky. I grew up there, including me [emoji847][emoji23]
