I have never seen a wind turbine in person until Wednesday. These things are HUGE! I got a really good idea of their size based on one out in a pasture. There were Black Angus standing near the base and they looked like little black bumps.
I really must be getting old took me 4-5 seconds till I “got it”
Wait till you see them hauling a blade for one of them things down the highway

I did, pretty impressive rig. I bet the turning radius blows on that. 10
or 12 axles on the trailer. Hard to count axles when you are blowing by at 89 mph. It was sitting in an equipment lot off the interstate.
There were several wind turbines missing all 3 blades and some were not turning at all.

I flew to Oslo, Norway for Pride Day. I’m sure many of you wish you were here. Mighty Vikings with their rainbow flags have really fallen far.
Should have seen the one NASA put on Howard's Knob in boone.....I could only get 3 channels on my little 13 inch b&w tv, and that thing messed those up....noise was unbelievable the times that it worked

According to Maryland State Police (MSP), troopers responded to I-70 West, near Interstate 81, just after 5 a.m. There, they learned that a tractor-trailer had been hauling a windmill blade west on I-70 when the blade became loose.
The blade then ended up across the center median, blocking the eastbound lanes, according to state police.
