Said a few words before these boots went in the trash can. Lol. Lots of briar stomping, walking miles. More importantly...lots and lots of memories made wearing these boots...that's the important part!! Lost both soles at the heel at the last hour of hunt. They were good boots..Irish Setters.

I’d say you definitely got your money’s worth from those!

Great that you're trying to get off nicotine. 25 years ago when my kids were young, my FIL was trying to quit. When he visited, he would be smoking on our deck while wearing a nicotine patch. He struggled to get off. Then all of a sudden, he had quit. Since my inlaws lived 500 miles away, we didn't know how he managed it. It wasn't until a year ago that he finally told us that he had a lung removed due to cancer.
Thanks buddy. 16 days now

Clean them up good and contact cement works wonders.

Dig those rascals back out of the trash and get some E6000 clear. That stuff is amazing for shoe repair

Figured it out. Darn robins are absolutely devouring the holly berries in the backyard. Apparently my truck is in their flight path. I've got 5 huge hollies back there with enough berries to keep them fed for a month. Guess I'll keep the pressure washer outView attachment 166825
My grandpa talked about getting sacks full of roosting robins out of cedar trees to eat and how they were almost as good as quail breast. You could turn a negative into a positive there at your place

Reach out to @YanceyGreenhorn .
Sitting at a RR crossing yesterday waiting for a train to pass, I found myself doing what seems normal for me during those minutes: looking at the graffiti painted on the rail cars. My mind went to thinking of anybody that could answer my questions, you would be the one! There appears to be many talented people that create these dioramas but just what dang language do they use? The murals with letters do not appear to be in the English language.. Is this foreign language for the most part? Or hobo language? The only things I could actually "read" were the cases where the artist simply painted their initials on the cars...
Also, just exactly what is the reasoning behind the artwork?

I absolutely appreciate train car tags....or just tags in general. Some very talented people out there for sure.

You should get those bronzed and mounted on a display.

I knew a guy that was a lifelong alcoholic that permanently lost his license and his transportation was a moped. The guy wasn't afraid to work doing anything for $10 an hour or he just didn't have a choice but he would ride in freezing conditions 15 miles on that thing to work an 8-10 hour day. This guy was older than I am now in his mid fifties doing this daily when he was hit by a Ford pickup operated by a driver without insurance. Dude was tough enough to recover from the injuries but the MRI and xray showed up cancer in his body that was the grim reaper that took him down

When I lived outside a rural town in the Midwest, there was an elderly man who lost his driving privileges. He drove an old "Handy Andy" lawn tractor pulling a cart around town. The local grocery store even had a special marked spot for him.
