Sometimes I have something I want to post but really don't want to start a thread for each one. So this will serve as a place for those random posts. Anyone can use it. All I ask is that it stay random and not become a multi-page discussion of one topic.

First post is I'm in awe of government efficiency. Yesterday, I got a check from the Department of State Treasurer for a COLA adjustment to my pension. The check was for $3.67.

On a state level. For 7 straight years after my youngest turned 18 I received a monthly letter stating I owed $000.00 dollars of child support. I tried for a few years to get them to stop, eventually gave up.

On another note. At the last second today I decided to take a right turn onto a small development road. I didn't need to make this turn, but wanted a change of pace. I immediately ran over and killed a squirrel at about 10mph. Rounded a curve.... yep... I flattened another. Felt a little bad about that....

As hot as it is today I saw a man walking in Durham wearing long pants and a hooded sweat shirt with hood pulled over his head, heat index has to be close to 100.

Further down the same street I see a man laying half in some shrubs and half on the sidewalk, a sheriffs car rode past him and didn't stop to check on him.
I guess they leave them alone now unless they get a complaint.

Storming here. Thunder, lighting, hard rain and I look outside and see the woman 2 houses down walking back to her house coming from her daily walk. It’s been storming a while so it ain’t like she was on her walk and got caught in a storm. I knew she was a little weird but now I know she ain’t smart either

This thread would run out of pages if I had enough time to write all I thunk about. Just this evening on the way home from the place that I have to go to visit to receive a paycheck, one crackhead on the cellular device had to weave in and out of traffic like Mario Andretti obviously on the way to buy another fix. I had to stop and get a little push water in my old beater "Betsy" and when I left the station and traversing through the round about here comes some denture wearing 88 year old who just about hit Betsy head on. I thought to myself while i was cursing out loud "How in the f.... do people get around without having their car not tore all to living hell ?"

I really never like the song " cheeseburger in paradise ", but I could sure do with a bacon cheeseburger right about now 😄
