I've looked through the regulations and can't find anything specific to this: can you hunt game lands for doves even if it isn't a designated dove field? I feel like you can, but I'm not 100% sure. The designated dove fields that I checked weren't exactly on fire but I found another spot on game lands where soy beans are planted and the doves are using them fairly well.
