I gots nothing valuable to add IMO doesn't matter on pump or auto like said already just hunt with what's comfortable for ya and more Importantly pattern it well knowing penetration and pattern both adequate and your solid. Turkey doesn't care which brand or style

All I’ve ever used is pump 835 but thinking of getting a Sa 28 or 500 20 gauge. Giving my 835 with original Star Dot choke to my son in law. Should I go with the semiautomatic or pump?

I got an SA-28 tactical turkey set up if you are interested. Its got a AT3 ARO, Indian Creek .525 and Carlsons .520. It shoots the Indian Creek best and likes Rogue ammunition.

coolest gun on the turkey hunting market IMO

My son just got his a few weeks back - stock chokes are pretty good.
POA and POI are close on both barrels - bottom is a little lower than would like - but should be a killer.

Same here. I'm using a youth 20 with TSS. Good 40 yard pattern with factory choke. Or a tri star 410 semi. It will kill out to 40 as well with TSS and a factory choke
