Permit Results

I got 1/3 for the youth and adult hunt at Butner/Falls. Real excited to take my son for his first season, even if we don't get a bird. I figure if I can get him to even see one up close, that will get him out in the woods for years to come.


I did have one question though, I have never applied for a permit before, are the permits at Butner truely only for one day? This is how mine looks in the app:

Only because it's youth/adult on the opening day of adult turkey season. The youth-only permits are 3 days (I think) and the adult permits are 3 days (I know).

I'm glad you were successful & wish you & youth success. BUT, it would be to everyones advantage, including you & youth, if you DON'T mention the Permit Opportunity hunt location. It is becoming harder & harder to get drawn on Permit Opportunity Hunts due to more & more people applying. Remember, it is not only NCH&F members that can see these post. Good luck!
