I’m sure the .575 is too open for the longbeards. I think the carlsons choke made for them is .555 or close to it.Really sweet top patterns hard ask much more. On the federal did you shoot multiple shots my issue with em was I'd get 2 that looked like your 40 then the next would be terrible just no consistency at distance. Figure that choke to open for the lead? They usually do better at 40.
Those are a little tighter, I’m sure mine would snug up if I choked it down. Here’s mine Remington 870 20 gauge 26 inch barrel champion easy hit fiber optic bead. 3 inch Apex 1 5/8oz #9 TSS.
Both shots 40 yards
1st target Carlson TSS choke 555 cons
2nd target Jebs Headhunter choke 560 cons
It killed one stone cold dead at 72 I'd leave it be.Those are a little tighter, I’m sure mine would snug up if I choked it down.
5s6s or 5s on the long beard? Great patterns.
71…. But whose counting???It killed one stone cold dead at 72 I'd leave it be.
I have Carlsons Longbeard choke it is .568.I’m sure the .575 is too open for the longbeards. I think the carlsons choke made for them is .555 or close to it.
71…. But whose counting???
It was a joke…he had the yardage off by one. I actually thought the one I killed was at 60 and was surprised when I ranged it.Everybody is “counting”
90 is the new 50 in distance. Just ask or look.
Usually a five year old with a .410.
