We have another group of 5 regulars that include 1 very mature gobbler, 4-2 year old gobblers that have been coming since they were hatched...I rarely hear them but get to see them strut almost every day in the spring and sometimes into the fall and winter. We have tons of coyotes and I feel that birds aren't as vocal if there are lots of coyotes around.
26 returned this morning..with none of the big gobblers but multiple young jakes of the year. Fun watching turkey antics while trying to get ready for work.
