One year ago today I had my fall from the tree stand in Virginia today at 7:00 a.m. I was lucky enough to take my biggest buck ever with a muzzleloader on the same property with the same family with me the day I fell almost at the exact same time.
Feeling very blessed

Congratulations, You are definitely a blessed man to survive a fall like that and still be able to walk, hunt and kill a nice buck!

Sir, I just want to tell you that your deer somehow gained 30-40 inches from your first pics to your later pics. What a massive beast and I am glad you are back in the saddle again!

That's a GREAT buck! Love the dark horns and character. And to get him one year to the day in the same spot is a blessing for sure. That's sweet.

Congrats on a nice buck! Just curious. Are your feet now staying on the ground?
My most comfortable stand is my summit climber. I climb about 6 feet in it. With a harness on of course. My pelvis is severely misaligned so hard surfaces are out

Ladder stand with Zero gravity seat.
Wallyworld sells a seat past about 3" thick. Has a battery compartment to make it heated. Strap attached, too. I've never used the battery thingy but, the thick pad certainly helps on a regular ladder stand.
