1968 Bear Super Kodiak referred by many Bear fans as Black Beauty. Phenolic riser. The phenolic was available in 67 1/2, 68, and 69.

I did not restore it. I sent it to a fella who is a master at it.

That looks nice. Seems backwards though.

He hand strips with sandpaper to the wood and glass. Then he filled the drilled holes with matching color filler. He then sprayed on a two-part epoxy finish. He hand wet-sands that. Then he replaced the decals. He then finishes with a final clearcoat of ultra high gloss.
