Ocracoke surf this morning 6-2-19 AND Beyond

Fish were biting this morning on Ocracoke, caught 15 or so these were the best two

Try 63 and go back to the south. Some really nice sloughs that way.

Nice catch, I have never had the pleasure, but are Pomps as good on the plate as they say?

They are very good! They also have alot of meat on them for their size.

This morning was rough, only 1,, 15 inch whiting, winds so hard the birds were walking. Calmed down some this afternoon They bit a little better this evening caught 3 like this and had something big run off and streighten a hook on a small pole

Pomps are firm, white, and a no "fish" taste. Very good eating fish.
