Ocean Isle

Going to ocean isle next week. Any suggestions on anywhere to get walking access to the waterway? Will be doing some surf fishing but would like to walk gig and possibly fish in the waterway from shore.

There's the Ferry Landing Park on the east end, and also I see people parking and fishing at the very end of Lee St. where it wraps around the canals and goes back toward the ICW. We've also parked all the way on the east end in the past and walked out to the inlet.

Yup! My dad is there now and has been slaying the flounder! He limited out yesterday and today using finger mullet on a Carolina rig. I’ll be heading down Thursday night and hope the bite is still good when I get there!

Saw some short fish, caught some small croaker and pinfish.... couple of lizard fish and a gag grouper...
