But breakfast has been good when working from home....

In a concentrated effort to not waste as much, had half of a ribeye left over from this fast weekend. Not the greatest quality but adapt and overcome. Ran out to the garden, grabbed an onion and a jalapeño. Sautéd both in butter, sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Thinnly-sliced remainder of steak. Added another pad of butter to pan, steak, seasoned with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and chili powder and deglazed with a couple splashed of lemon juice.

Scrambled three eggs. Little grated cheese and dollop of sour cream. Forgot to add the green onion tops but I’m not getting back up for that. Good TexMex breakfast.53AAC42D-7ED5-41CB-881D-4FC9709D4D96.jpeg

love it when there is a good meat leftover for breakfast, steak or ham fry up till crispy edges, butter and a few spices, even a better breakfast when there is a left over baked potato to fry up as well

If you have some plain spaghetti leftover from last nights dinner then fry you some bacon crisp, break it up and mix it in a frying pan with a few eggs and a handful or two of spaghetti. Scramble it all together with a little ground pepper and salt until done. It's amazingly good.

Interesting never heard of anyone doing that.
