No. 1

I have long thought the No1 was the most beautiful gun out there.
I was going to buy the varmit model in 25-06 but changed my mind at the last minute and bought a Remington Sendero......I still regret it.

As beautiful as a No.1 is, I’d bet that Sendero will outshoot the No.1.

Don’t get me wrong, I Love my No.1’s….but owning both Senderos and No.1s, I’ve found that the Senderos are much less picky than the No.1’s, especially the heavy barreled No.1V(Varmint).

That was the exact reason I put the Ruger back on the shelf and grabbed the Sendero.

I had a chance to buy a No.3 in .22 Hornet years ago, but I was more interested in a .45/70 or a .44 at the time

A buddy was looking at a .257 Weatherby for a while. It eventually sold.
