Lol it’s that kinda tenacity that will have you fitting in around here in no time at all. I’m not speaking from experience though. I’m like Lennie Small from Of Mice and Men. Welcome. Good group of guys on here. You’ll learn a few things from some guys here and get some good laughs in. I’ve never been to one of the get together but I’d recommend going to one since you’re close. Always looks like those guys in the west have a good time. They might not kill much but they sure eat good

We do have quite a few get togethers every year in the western end of the state.
With the change in this years regs we may not have our annual muzzleloader hunt in the same way as before (not a lot of deer anyways
), but we do get together every spring after turkey season and we absolutely slay the trout...and yes, we know how to have a good time and eat !! You're welcome around the fire if you get the chance.
