So the original use was for a danish cake with apple slices. Never have used it for that but it makes incredible half dollar pancakes!!!very nice. what is the one with little circles used for?
I have acquired one of these. It needs cleaning and re-seasoning. I don't know if I'll use it or not. I don't think mine is marked though.Griswold aebelskiver skillet
I personally do not currently have any. My dad likes those and the old cast waffle makers with the bases for a gas or wood burner. Next time I'm over at Mom and Dad's I'll get some pictures to share. No vintage pie irons for camping?

Nice corn stick pan. Here is a Griswold corn bread pan that is the closest thing I've found to replicate Parker's BBQ cornsticks.
That's a cool piece. Bet it makes great waffles.Don't use it much any more. But here is a camp/stove top waffle maker.

An old timer that grew up during the great depression he was the one that got me into cast-iron. He just about cut off my arm when I washed his skillet with soap and water. I learned a lot from that old man I sure do miss him.I'm in the process of reclaiming my cast iron skillet from my wife. Hadn't noticed that she's been cleaning the daylights out of it lately.
Told her hands off until I can bring it back to previous glory..........
That is bad, but I can top it...youngest daughter not knowing any better put oldest daughter's #8 through the dishwasher once. I shoujd have trained youngest daughter better I guess. An old timer that grew up during the great depression he was the one that got me into cast-iron. I like the stand the pots on - did you make it?Cooked a chicken middle in my 30 gallon pot yesterday. Three generations cooking was pretty cool.
Had a friend of our make it for us. We had tried all types of stands before we found this one. I would totally recommend it or a design like this.I like the stand the pots on - did you make it?
I can beat that! Gave daughter #1, who appreciates such things, a nice #9 well seasoned cast iron skillet. Daughter #2 who would not know a vintage cast iron cooking pan from a disposable aluminum pie pan, proceeds to wash the skillet in the dishwasher. Needless to say it came out looking pretty rusty. Fortunately, daughter #1 was able to start the reseasoning process all over again & daughter #2 learned a valuable lesson.I'm in the process of reclaiming my cast iron skillet from my wife.
