New Bern

somewhat related to my previous post.

Anybody from or live around the New Bern area? It seems like bass fishermen are few and far between around here.

bream and catfish are the usual fresh water fair here it seems.

take your kayak down to the bridges at new bern and catch whatever is swimming around them. You'll forget about the bass and bream most likely.

Where have you been at New Bern that you don't see the bass fishermen? They like fleas down there.

you can catch Bream, Bass, Rock, Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Catfish, Hardhead Mullet and a pin fish if you're lucky. I've seen or heard of most of those on crickets.

They don't hold all types of tournaments at Lawson's Creek landing for no reason.
