Seems fine, I’m sure it’ll kill deer fine... but I just don’t see the point. It’s not doing anything real special that you couldn’t do with a 30-30 or 35rem for hunting. 150gr is light weight for 338cal gums let alone 35s.

It is an auto rimmed cartridge. It can easily be fit inti a semi auto platform unlike 30 30 or 35 rem.

Performance wise you are absolutely correct.

I always wanted a .357 mag AR. I would love to see some uppers 350 legend. That would be its best fit.

Do you realize that the .35 Remington was conceived as an autoloading round and that the first rifle to chamber the round was the semi-auto Remington Model 8?

Well now I do! Thanks Fish for the correction. You learn something every day. I always thought the .35 Rem was eimmed like a 30 30. If the legend sticks around long enough for brass to be fairly common place I will get an upper.

I built an AR in the 350 legend. I gotta say for accuracy, ammo price, and low recoil...I'm really enjoying this cartridge.

And its legal in states that allow single shot straight walled catridges for "primitve weapons"
