I have more than a few colors of MR series baits that i have bought or found over the years that were duds and never caught well in the areas I winter trout fish. Figured I'd tune a couple up on days that were to nasty to do much else.
IMO pink and yellow are the two best colors for fishing lures, day in and day out. Special conditions dictate other things at times, but you can't go wrong by picking up pink/yellow first from the tackle box. As to a name, Texas Chicken is already taken for those colors, maybe "Dare Chicken"...
Pink is hard to beat. For small mouth and pan fishing from a canoe Rooster Tails with pink and yellow are our most productive color. My best Spanish spoons are pink and green or pink and yellow.
