Nebraska speed goats

Just thought id post this. Yall may know im born & raised in johnston county nc but im currently spending most my time in sw nebraska. Was filling in pivot tracks today, came over the hill to get on the next track and there stood a herd of 25-30 nebraska speed 🐐 good ole mulies. Hope they hang around for november

Yeah i call deer speed goats not antelope. Those are ranch maggots

Some folks don’t realize it but mulies run a lot faster than a whitetail. The designation of speed goat was actually intended for the much faster pronghorn (or antelope as some prefer to call it).

NE has speed goats and mule deer. Have seen both while out there turkey hunting. They also have a few elk and I have seen some of them too.

Nebraska is on my shortlist for out of state boondoggles 2022. Hoping to knock off one of those mulies from the bucket list.
