Join us in March for an evening of talking turkey!​

This is a great opportunity for you to interact with NC Wildlife leadership, biologists and local managers. Our staff, including Chief of the Wildlife Management Division Brad Howard and Upland Game Bird Biologist Hannah Plumpton, will discuss monitoring, research, and management opportunities for wild turkeys in North Carolina.

Topics covered will include:

  • Surveys and monitoring of wild turkeys in NC
  • Trends in reported wild turkey harvest
  • Results from recent NC turkey research
  • Habitat and management for wild turkeys
  • Upcoming wild turkey program projects
  • Discussion and questions from attendees
