Not sure how but mine stays logged in. I click on app and then click on my name as the primary lic holder and it brings up all.my stuff. I hadn't been in it for a couple of weeks and just tried it and it worked on just two clicks.

try clicking on "purchase a license" like you are going to renew your tags and see if it stays on.

Yup.... I don't see my name but I've already renewed all.my stuff so it list the licenses I can purchase for someone else. If I pull up the side menu all the way at the bottom is an option to "Log Off" which I didn't click. When I leave the purchase page it takes me back to my tag page.

I see all that now. Just renewed my tags from my lifetime, exited the app, and got into it and can see all the tags and everything.

If I wanted to get something new, like a bear or trapping, then I would go to purchase and have to put it all my creds.

Guess that's good enough. Although, knock on wood, I've never met a WRO in the wild.....

Under “view license” I am logged in (as primary)

When I click purchase license I have to enter all my info. That’s fine now that I think about it because I also have both of my kids stuff synced to my phone.

I checked Iowa app(they use same platform) and it’s the same thing. You have to log in to purchase anything but all licenses are saved under view license tab.

How can you print tags from your iPhone? I couldn’t figure out how to get my print option to come up. I know it stores it all on the app but I like piece of mind.

I just went to print option on my iphone and it printed what was on the page when i purchased them. Not sure how go back in and pull it up. I printed 2 copies one to keep with me and other one to put in box on boat with registration

Thanks for that, I've been hesitant because I handle my kids' licenses too...maybe I'll try it out now.

Does anyone know if there is a way to upload documents, like taking a photo of hunting permission and uploading it?

Ok. Played around some more on app and answered my question. I don't think I really care for navigating in this app, thus far.

Has anyone figured out how to purchase exempt licenses for landowners or youth in this new system?

Permits:
-used to be able just look a a permits page to find the Draw date, pretty easy, just a couple clicks.
-Now have to drill down in the app, under apply and select( maybe i just need to get more familiar)
When i look at/ for the permits i applied for, there is a tab, for 2023 season, but mine is only showing what i applied for and/or recieved in 2022...... under the 2023 tab, and the heading is 2023 season.

I guess i will have to dig thru every permit category, and put the deadline date on my calender forever, making minor adjustments.
You can download the 394 page permit booklet.

log in to gooutdoorsnc on your computator,,,
right in the middle of your account page it will say "print licenses"
when you print your license, if you have big game, it will print the harvest card/sheet as the second page

I did that. I have a lifetime sportsman's license but it only comes up with the license as page 1 of 1.

interesting - I have that same license, and mine prints with the license on page 1, tags on page 2, and permits etc (field trial, etc) after that

did you do your annual "activation" or whatever they call it, to renew the big game tags, bear tag, HIP, etc? if you did, it will look like this and should print like I described

Tried to renew wife's lifetime fishing license, could not find the CRFG survey. Checked with the wildlife folks, they could not firgure it out either. Couple days later got an email telling me to try again and it was fixed.

Musta done something wrong applying for a dove permit. Can't find any record of applying, and also my credit card was not charged. Just vanished. In retrospect don't recall a confirmation email either.
Hope I get better at this thing before duck season, I already can't get decent permits even when I could use their system. This won't' help!!

Any idea how to tell what sequence or order the draws are done?
Reason for asking is I don't want to have date/location conflicts between places I really want to hunt versus places that are just meh. For example, say I REALLY wanted to hunt Second Creek on a specific date, but would apply for White Oak River if I could not get Second Creek. I'd hate to get drawn for White Oak and accidentally preclude myself from Second Creek.

If they would leave out the advertising it would run faster and smoother. All seem to beg more rhan not though

So if you apply for multiple permit hunts at different locations on the same date can it hurt your chances? I am not clear on that.

Under the old system NC WRC would not (generally) issue multiple permits to the same person on the same date. I infer the new system is similar...
So, if you get drawn for a specific date (at a less desirable location), then you would no longer be eligible for a second permit for that date (at a more desirable location). Depending on the sequence of the locations drawn, this would knock you out of the draw for the better spots.

There are spots for which I've failed to get a draw for 10 or 20 years. Trying to understand if I'm spectacularly unlucky or if I'm doing something wrong.
