So, who is the best turkey taxidermist around? I’ve seen several from folks local to me in Moore County and several are very good. Just getting some suggestions before I make my final decision.

Thanks!

Andy Speer hands down best turkey mounts I’ve ever seen. I just picked my son’s up from last year. Great guy as well.

I wouldnt limit myself to NC taxis. Unless you are just in a "buy local" mode.
There are specialists that do incredible work and it isnt likely you gonna mount twenty of them so you need to get it perfect.
Good Luck with it.
Turkeys mounted are hit or miss.
You need a hit with that one. imo.

I got two from Nana. They were practice mounts. They as good as I’ve seen. Heads are amazing. I’d be glad to send pictures.

I know you said NC, but you really need to look in McGuire's Taxidermy & Freeze Drying. He is in McDowell, VA and a recent world champion in turkey taxidermy. His work is incredible !

Plank Road taxidermy gets my vote. Myself, several family members and friends have used Charles and no complaints. Great guy too
