Ten Pointer
Was up in Buffalo NY May 14 - 23 visiting family and friends....and also to fish like crazy. Main target was smallies. Started off visiting one of my best friends from high school in the southern tier and hit a local farm pond. Caught 16 largemouth and he caught 14. Great ice breaker!
Once I got to Buffalo, hit my favorite creek for smallies. The water was gin clear, and it hadn't rained in at least a week. Tough fishing for 2 days. Only managed 1. I ventured down to the mouth of the creek on the 3rd day and got into them a little bit; caught 12 smallies and this slob catfish.
Got in the yak in a harbor and started crushing them! 20 smallies and 1 northern pike the 1st trip; then 15 smallies, 5 pike and a largemouth the 2nd trip.
My other best friend from high school threw together a last minute walleye charter at night and we had our limit by 12am!
