I shared with my Bride and she laughed quite a bit. Then again she’s managed to tolerate me for the last decade. Case in point I’m fairly certain there is still raccoon blood dried to the garage wall going into the laundry room. We had a family get together in Raleigh at the last minute and I had some chickens to kill anyway so I lobbed off about 15 heads and my High Brow in-laws are freah chicken she plucked for me. I can’t even cut the sinew off backstraps. She uses the same method to skin fish and both result in butcher quality. When we met she had spent her life in very comfortable urban settings. I didn’t know shirts had sleeves. Funny how things change.

Ever thought about how lucky (fortunate, blessed, stars lined up) you were when you first saw the light of day......man all the fishing worms I dug as a child, mud holes I just had to step in, playing in the dirt pushing that John Deer, helping Grand Pa bail hay, and not least of all....getting on the school bus that morning and the sweet smell of that first girl friend sitting beside you as you held her hand. Oh, those were the days.
