hello all i was thinking of going to MC KINNEY LAKE tomorrow where the fish hatchery is - in the lake they have about 8 fish feeders all about the lake my question is do the fish [ bass - cat`s - crappie ] get their fill from these feeders or is there still a chance that fishing will be worth it

I’ve heard of nice bass from there but I always figured they had so much food shiners etc that they were pretty tight lipped never crappie fished there though

Can't see how they'd feed predatory fish like bass from a feeder. Never know until ya go!

If I"m not mistaken, the hatchery next to it produces catfish. I know feeders are often used for catfish.

my mistake i thought bass might get a meal also - there are otter`s in there maybe they are gettin the bass
