None, just that a lever gun with a safety is a bit... redundant. That’s what half cocked is for.
Always heard the jm Marlins with safety were less desirable never knew why exactly. I have a few Marlins only one with safety that I took in on a trade.

The safety is more about what you are accustomed to. I prefer not to have them, but they were just getting started in my younger days, and I was used to guns that didn’t have them. Younger people now days wouldn’t know the difference.
