Twelve Pointer
Had a small fire in the stove yesterday evening. Went out and chopped the top off an old cedar post about 4:00. Sat by the fire and had a duck by midnight. Put on some clear coat this morning.
Disclaimer: there was a rough chopping with the axe to get the rough angles, and the head was roughed out on the bandsaw and grinding wheel. Still, a fair amount of knife work and sandpaper.
It’s a little bit chicken necked and too round in the head, but I have some better ideas for the next one.
