Military Appreciation Day event in Southport Saturday September 8, 2018....Headquarters Southport Marina. If you've never participated in one of these events you're really missing out. Taking a couple of young Marines or Soldiers out for a day on the water is one of the most gratifying things you'll ever do.... No boat? That's not a problem. Did the Morehead event for many years, had to back away due to a few medical problems. May start back next year.
