Guess its that time of year again; we've got a piece of cedar tree stuck in the ground that I've drilled holes into for suet, and I noticed this fellow yesterday perching on the different spots, checking all the cracks & crevices. Time to start making bird suet.....

I didn't know what suet was looked up neat and cool to do that with cedar I enjoy watching birds will have make one these to put out back

Homemade suet is easy to make; the wife mixes lard, flour, yellow corn meal and peanut butter, and sometimes mixes in peanuts & dried fruit.
Almost all the backyard birds love it, especially the woodpeckers.
