Liquid nitrogen?

Anyone ever sprayed liquid nitrogen over corn with a boomless sprayer? Any reason not to do it? Just looking at wider passes and knocking less corn down

wouldn’t spray lquid nitrogen over the top of corn if it’s up. It will burn the heck out of it. You can use dry over the top like 24s or 34-0-0 You can do the liquid before the corn comes up over the top. Trouble with that sometimes if it turns off wet and cold could stunt it some but will usually come back out when it warms up. If you do liquid needs be beside the row or down the middles and avoid contact with the leaves

What is the analysis of your liquid nitrogen?
Just like any liquid fert, it’s meant to be sprayed foliar and watered in before it volatilizes.
A liquid is easier to absorb by the roots besides having to break down as a granular or even slower as a solid organic.

dont spray corn over the top with nitrogen as it will burn the heck out of it. Have to use drop nozzles between the rows.

If they use liquid here they inject it right beside the row and hill it up. That crap over the top will cause all kind of foliar burning as has already been stated.
