The birds are grouped up this time of year. I have been seeing a lot on the way in to deer hunt, so I would think it would be good hunting.

my most memorable dove hunts have been in the late season. We set up under an irrigation rig with decoys and mojo's and shoot em like ducks, a lot of fun!

I went on two good hunts last week. One on thanksgiving afternoon and the other Saturday morning. I'd rather dove hunt the middle and late season than I had the opener. Some of the best hunts I've ever been on were around Christmas!
