Larger hunting pack

I’ve run across a good deal on an ALPZ Outdoorz Traverse EPS and I’m considering getting it.

Does anyone have any experience with this pack?

I really like the expandable section, and the bow/ gun carrier

I don’t have that pack but have two alps packs and they are decent packs for the money.

I have the Alps Outdoors Pack and Frame. The only thing I did not like were the pins holding the pack to the frame: they are noisy. I replaced all of them with stainless steel bolts and nylon nuts. Issue resolved. It's a cool pack.

I ended up dilly dallying too long and the pack found a home somewhere else.

Still looking at other options. Including the Cabelas Versa Pack Alaskan frame with the 70L pack.

Also considering the pack @YanceyGreenhorn has, the Badlands Creed.

I run a badlands 2200 series for my larger pack. It’s done all I have ever asked it to do.

Not as catchy as some, but it got me through the Holy Cross in Colorado, and then some.

Ive used an old A.L.I.C.E. backpack with the frame trimmed out...works for me..

That’s a great pack- bought mine and before we left for trip my son bailed on his original pack and bought one too!

I agree. It’s a nice pack. It just exceeds my pack budget right now…lol.

Exactly what I am using. Well built by Propper. Love it. Was able to buy it before they got so expensive.

You should watch archerytalk, rokslide, and Craigslist for a used Mystery Ranch, EXO, Stone Glacier, Kuiu…. There are very worth used packs to be had for great deals. It is how I got my EXO 3500 k2.
