Well damn, last month I had a growth removed and turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. Got in a fast tracked appointment to have more cut out on Wednesday.
Doc said if you get a cancer this is the one you want . Kind of relieved I guess, but bummed that it sidelined me from fishing some of the best time of the year. It was in my groin area so sitting in the kayak for hours wasn't going to happen. Anyway, I usually don't open up about personal things, but just would like to let everyone know to get a total body skin check at some point , it could save you bigger problems later on. .. Don

Had those on top of my head and arm before. Two on my arm the doc burned a big hole that took for ever to heal

Made my appt today then saw this post. FIL has spots taken off on a regular basis. All Basel cell. You are right, if you have to get the big C that’s the one ya want, doesn’t spread to other organs.

Hope you heal up and get back on the water quickly.
