25' yesterday, reel up one crank off the bottom and just bounce it along. It wouldn't be long and you had action. How deep are they?
25-30' deep last week...
Right on the bottom. Ive had best luck with a 3/8 oz weight on the bottom and a 1 foot dropper loop with a minnow on itHow deep are they?

No......are you Jordan anglers in favor of the new proposed 8" limit for crappie?
Only fish it a few times a year and I think it’s a terrible idea.are you Jordan anglers in favor of the new proposed 8" limit for crappie?
Thank you! We’re looking to get up there this coming weekend.Right on the bottom. Ive had best luck with a 3/8 oz weight on the bottom and a 1 foot dropper loop with a minnow on it
Wasn’t aware of it, and won’t support it. I believe the 10” limit is one of the main reasons Jordan is such a quality crappie lake.are you Jordan anglers in favor of the new proposed 8" limit for crappie?
Did you happen to be fishing the Hwy 64 bridge? There were so many boats there Saturday that I could have crossed the lake by walking from boat to boat.
I didn't try Harris, Ive heard people are catching a bunch. I spider rig and do pretty good at Jordan, Ive got 50+ fillets in the freezer!Probably gonna hit up Harris saturday now that hunting season has wound down. Heard the water temps had gotten into the 60s last week, but they are back in the 50s since the cold front. Probably start deep first thing and do some searching if that doesn't produce.

If you wouldn't mind let me know how you do at Harris. I've tried before and only end up with one here and there. I always get a ton at Jordan but like trying them both. I live basically same distance to both but Harris never produces (probably my luck).
There was a bowl of salad before the plate of fried goodness! Used that Louisiana fish fry batter on these and they turned out great! Heading out in a bit to try and hook up with some rock fish to put in a pot of stew.where's ya greens young man!!
nice fried fish!!
hold that thought. It's only come up 0.68 feet so far.
I don't keep Crappie under 10" unless they are dead from hook removal, Id rather see them grow a another year...just my preference.Wasn’t aware of it, and won’t support it. I believe the 10” limit is one of the main reasons Jordan is such a quality crappie lake.
