Thanks to Natebonebusta and his friend Brad I came into a pile of squirrels lately and finally cooked a pot of stew. Just squirrel, taters, maters, corn and butterbeans. Turned out pretty good and put 9 quarts in the freezer.
Nice thing is, that was 13 squirrels and I still have meat from 12 more already parboiled and in the freezer but don't have enough space left for another 10 quarts. Have to do some eating first.
Thanks for the nice comments guys. I'm still recovering. It was something like 2+hrs. of cooking time. That's no big deal but I was stirring the pot the whole time......... with a not quite long enough spoon. 'Bout tuckered me out.
