Hydro seeding for food plots

Hydro seeding food plots. Has anyone tried this My Son in law has a hydro seeder that goes on the back of a pick up truck Thinking I might give it a try

Depends on how you look at it. The materials used in the hydro seeding process can get pricey.

Here is the one my son in law built to do hi lawn at their new house. It worked great. I have a couple of late plots I going to use it to plant 01441326-05A0-4B4C-93F2-F49265F1B4D2.jpeg

Can you post the plans for how he built that. When I come back tot he states next year, the first thing I want to do, get my food plot going again.

We hydroseed for work. I have found that spreading seed then lightly discing or dragging is much more effective to get the seed to hold in place and germinate.
