Beat Calgary in OT last night 2-1, both Aho's goals.. Keep it rolling guys. They play the Oilers in Edmonton tomorrow night as the road trip continues.

I see canes signed another goalie yesterday and they plan to carry 3 the rest of the season. The two we got are pretty banged up they say but both of them have had injury issues in the past.

I have returned from trying to break the jumbo tron with my seated dance moves. I was happy to see us sign that kid. Lyon didn't play badly for what he is......But we need more than that.

Good game ...... sad canes fans failed to show up..... made it more like a home game for New York....

Well that sucked!! Doubly so to the last team in the division.
I'm serious. We talked about going to the match next Saturday night. That would also be against the Devils. If that is how we are going to play the last team in the division I have serious misgivings about going.

Don't even know what to say, just know that we lost.

Back to back game with a snow storm delay that prevented them from flying out on time..... and a goalie not ready for NHL.... i wasnt surprised at the results.... but if you only want to see games they win you better stay home and just watch the game rebroadcast once ya know the outcome ;) you better stick with wrestling

Like I said , didn’t know what to say.

I didn’t come up with excuses though - still a fan and crushed when they lose

Hockey is one of those games where in the course of 82 games even the best will be beat by the worst on any given night. That is why they play a series in the playoffs. Learned long ago not to live and die on every regular season game. Trends matter.. our goal tending is a poor trend after Anderson, I am just glad he has surprised me.

Didn't properly celebrate the Hurricanes 6-0 beat down of the Bruins and the 'Canes season series sweep 3 games to 0 of the Bruins. Hurricanes scored 16 goals to Boston's 1 goal in those three games. How do you like them apples? Boston was without 2/3 of their top line due to Patrice Bergeron's head injury and Brad Marchand being suspended for 6 games because he sucker punched Penguin's goaltender Tristian Jarry with less than a minute to play, he then speared Jarry in the mask with his stick as the linesman was escorting Marchand to the penalty box. Classy guy, huh?

Hurricanes play in Minnesota tonight @ 8:00 p.m.. The Wild are in 3rd place in the Central division and in position to make a playoff run if they maintain the record. Should be a good game.

Go 'Canes!
