If i go to the coast to hunt the sound, other than blind restrictions, is there parts i cant hunt on? If i just kayak to an area on the water how do i know, i feel like gl dont extend to water
Thanks that helps i just needed a starting place. Ill check county laws.depends where you go on the coast,,,,most counties have different rules,,,
So really be careful of the local laws and protected areas. That makes sense, also the 500 yards from shore isn't that badRegs are not real clear.
Basically in Pamlico and Carteret if you are not on gamelands it is probably best to be 500 yards off shore.
In Dare and Currituck if you are not on gamelands you better not be caught hunting there unless you have a float blind permit. in Dare there are only 125 float blinds for 1167 SQUARE MILES of public water. the rest of the counties with public trust water abide by the Public Trust Doctrine and allow anyone to hunt anywhere on public water.
