Going out tomorrow to fish and use shrimp and frozen mullett. Also have some scented and cut squid. How does one fish squid and type of set up. This is new to my wife and me. All help appreciated

If whole squid cut it open and lay it flat. Cut ribbons pointed on 1 end and maybe 1/2 to 1" wide on the other. put the fat end once through the hook and let the point trail. Works well on a jig head with a curly tail. I guess it would depend on how and what you are fishing for and adjust the length accordingly. The heads are good too. hook them through the eyes and let the tentacles trail back.

We used to use it, not anymore. If yo insist...do like BarSinister says. We use shrimp from the seafood market instead, the difference in bites/fish caught is substantial....lots of trash fish however, but thats to be expected with cut bait/shrimp. If you can get through all the trash fish, black drum/red drum/flounder are to be had.
