How to humanely dispatch a opossum in the suburbs (where I can't shoot 'em)

I had a similar problem a couple years ago. I trapped a raccoon in a live trap in my attic. I put it there to catch a squirrel I saw and had no clue the raccoon was getting in.

Regardless I live in the city so thought through a lot of idea listed here. In the end, the easiest for me was just drive out of the city to the county and shoot him with a 22lr where legal.

I don't care what they say, possums are nasty and have no place around my chickens. Seasons or no seasons. possums are treated like wild cats. The get feed and petted.

OH, if you didn't have that ring door bell, you wouldn't have a possum problem. Technology just creates more problems.

Catch them and give them to Justin, he has been acting like a bootick, he would enjoy them. LMAO
