How To Catch Sheepshead - Sheepshead Fishing Tutorial With Live Shrimp!

Hey yall!

Jack was lucky enough to take a trip down to Florida during the winter to escape the cold. While down there he found a nice Sheepshead honey hole. I love catching Sheepshead but wasn't sure if everyone was knowledgeable about sheepshead fishing so we decided to throw together a quick tutorial video. went many many years ago New Smyrna FL with friends uncle. Took us to the jetty and we caught a bunch using cut shrimp. He cut em into nuggets and dredged in egg n flour and fried em up with sea turtle steaks he caught and cleaned. Man that was some good eating.

Florida and NC sheephead fishing are very different. You might use split shot and shrimp down there with success, but that's not going to work here. At our best sheep haunts, you will need as much as 2-3 ounces of weight, and a much more effective bait. The peckerhead pinfish would eat that whole bucket of shrimp in half an hour. The FL guys do well down there with light tackle, but it's more of a contact sport where I've caught them.

only thing I've seen him post is a tutorial on how he catches fish. FYI, I don't even watch his videos.
