Yes people do water board the lake but in my experience pontoons out number em most of the year

Lake Lure isn’t really a fishing a lake anyway, it’s a tourist lake

Davidson river can be really good this time of year, especially you throw a fly. The catch and release near the hatchery can be outstanding. When it gets closer let me know I will see just what they are hitting
