Don’t have a gauge. But I go by the Kent Rollins rule , if you can’t hold your hand over the grill for a count of 5 it’s ready for the meat.

I shoot for 550°-600°.
90 seconds. Then quarter turn. 90 seconds. Flip. 90. Quarter turn. 90 seconds. Pull off. Let sit for 5-10 minutes lightly tented.
That's just what I do.
I just bought some. Throwing them on tomorrow night.

actually , they weren’t that expensive. Got them a Harris Teeter. Came 2 in a pack for $32. I can live with that once in a while.

By clean it , I mean spray it down and turn the heat up for 5 minutes or until it stops smoking.
better to say re-season it than clean it I guess.
