This is an interesting year. The clubs I manage are all saying they cant see a deer, possibly due to acorns. 540 around Raleigh has been littered with dead bucks the last week, about 2-3 weeks earlier than usual.

Definitely down at my farm . I also lost a prime lease that was my bread and butter for guest hunters . My wife said she hasn't seen a deer in four sets and ain't going back . I'm a guide looking for a guided hunt for the wife . My bear season is getting close so I maybe setting somewhere in texas soon if I can't find anything closer . I have got to get her on a deer or at a minimum have a hunt planned for after bear season.

Looking at the live harvest #’s kills are way up in the western region. But no one I talk to is seeing killing deer.
