What preferred bedding material and release agent do you guys prefer. Getting ready to bed another rifle and the glass compound I used last time was a huge mess, so looking for a better material and figured I’d ask people I trust over internet nobodies.

Brownells acraglas gel.

2 coat acraglas release + 1 coat rig grease.

Marine-Tex, Devcon (Aluminum or Titanium), High Score Pro-Bed 2000, and Acra-Gel in that order is what I use. The best release agent bar none, is Brownell's Acra-Release aerosol spray, but you can use Johnsons paste floor wax as well but it's hard to get into the minute nooks and crannies.

plastic mold release works very well as a release agent, Acra-Release works good in combination with Acra-Gel. Whichever bedding agent you use a decent amount of powdered aluminum or powdered stainless steel really works well in getting the bedding agent to firm up much better than just the resin by itself.
